Job summary

Stantec invites applications for its 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in Manchester. You will join a North West Buildings team, collaborate with mentors, and contribute to sustainable building design from feasibility to handover.

You will work 4 days per week in the office, gaining exposure to BIM workflows and industry software while pursuing professional accreditation such as IET or CIBSE status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related building services field.
• Knowledge of Revit, Dialux, Relux and Electrical OM is beneficial.
• Passion for working in Buildings sector and graduate development.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and calculation of electrical building services systems using Dialux/Relux and Electrical OM.
• Support production of designs using Revit and 3D BIM modelling.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations and drawings.
• Participate in design team and client meetings within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Undertake site visits and surveys to support project delivery.
• Research and help implement emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
