Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Birmingham office. You will balance technical learning with project delivery across major grid connections, power transmission, and distribution projects in the UK.

You’ll contribute to high-voltage designs, prepare SLDs and reports, and learn to coordinate across engineering disciplines while pursuing professional chartership. This is an early careers opportunity with supportive teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related power systems discipline.
• Keen interest in energy transition and grid stability.
• Willingness to learn and develop professional qualifications such as CEng.

Responsibilities

• Undertake outline and detailed electrical designs, including power system calculations and protection assessments.
• Assist with feasibility studies, capacity assessments and grid connection reviews for clean energy projects.
• Coordinate electrical designs with civil, structural, mechanical, and digital teams.
