Job summary

Stantec invites graduates to join its 2027 Graduate Programme in London as a Graduate Electrical Engineer within the Transmission & Distribution team, delivering high‑voltage design work while collaborating across disciplines and offices to support net‑zero energy solutions.

You will balance learning with hands-on project delivery, working toward Chartered Engineer status and contributing to grid connections, power transmission, and distribution across the UK.

Qualifications

Accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or power systems.
Interest in energy transition and sustainability.
Willingness to pursue Chartered Engineer status with IET/IMechE.

Responsibilities

Undertake outline and detailed electrical designs, including power system calculations and protection.
Assist with feasibility studies, capacity assessments and grid connection reviews.
Coordinate electrical designs with civil, structural, mechanical and digital teams.
Prepare technical reports, SLDs, specifications, and client-facing documentation.
