Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer on our 2027 Graduate Programme in Birmingham. You will join a local MEP team and collaborate across Architecture, Civil, and other disciplines to develop electrical building services and integrated designs.

The role supports professional qualification development (IEng/CEng) with CIBSE, IET or ImechE, and offers a structured early-career path within a national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a keen interest in the Buildings sector.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages and readiness to develop professional qualifications.
• Interest in working in a multi-disciplinary Buildings team with design and delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of MEP projects through the development of mechanical and electrical building services designs.
• Assisting with the coordination of designs across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Undertaking engineering calculations using industry-standard software tools.
• Contributing to the preparation of technical specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Producing and developing 3D designs and models using BIM and related design software.
