Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer in Birmingham to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering civil engineering design across energy projects nationwide, with a focus on transmission and distribution infrastructure.

You will support FEED and detailed design stages, work closely with project managers and other disciplines, and develop practical, robust engineering solutions while collaborating on technical drawings and calculations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
• Interest in energy transition and power sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist civil engineering design for critical grid infrastructure (substations, OHL, interconnectors).
• Support development of enabling infrastructure and energy buildings for power networks.
• Contribute to renewable energy developments (Energy from Waste, hydropower, pumped storage).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce drawings, calculations and design documentation.
