Job summary

Arup is recruiting a Graduate Electrical Engineer in Manchester to help design electrical systems for essential infrastructure. You will work within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to water, energy, power and industrial projects, and develop towards professional accreditation.

You’ll gain hands-on experience from experienced engineers, with exposure to CAD/BIM tools, site activities and technical reporting as you grow your career within a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in the country of application
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical calculations, equipment selection and producing specifications and designs
• Create BIM models and support digital modelling activities
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
• Prepare technical reports and assist with site activities
• Develop towards professional accreditation while growing technical capability
