Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Infrastructure Electrical Engineer in Whitehaven to contribute to electrical systems for water, energy, power and industrial infrastructure. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, gain hands-on project experience, and progress toward professional accreditation.

You will join a community of experts, develop technical capability, and be exposed to design, BIM modelling, and site activities across sectors and clients in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering with strong academic record.
• Possession or pursuit of IET accreditation or equivalent.
• Good CAD and BIM understanding; project design experience valued.
• Some coding experience and openness to learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment selection.
• Prepare specifications and designs; model in BIM.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and produce reports.
• Support site activities and learn towards professional accreditation.
