Job summary
Arup in Leeds is seeking a Graduate Infrastructure Electrical Engineer to help design electrical systems for essential infrastructure. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to projects in water, energy, and industrial sectors, and develop towards professional accreditation.
You’ll gain real project experience, with CAD/BIM design, calculations, and technical reporting, while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver outcomes for clients and communities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2.1 or above).
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above) would be advantageous.
- Integrated Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
- Your degree should be IET-accredited or meet equivalent requirements.
- Good understanding of CAD and BIM and experience of design projects.
- Some experience with coding languages would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for infrastructure projects and support multidisciplinary teams.
- Produce technical specifications, BIM/digital modelling, and design reports.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and support site activities.
- Develop practical solutions and progress towards professional accreditation.
