Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a graduate electrical engineer to contribute to design and calculations across water, energy and environment projects. You will produce drawings, specifications and schedules and collaborate with commercial and construction teams to deliver practical, safe engineering solutions.

The role emphasises strong communication skills, accuracy in reporting and a methodical approach to problem solving, with office-based work and some site travel as required.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc).
• Excellent verbal communication to liaise with clients and team members.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail with report writing ability.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Work closely with commercial and construction teams to develop safe solutions.
• Prepare documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments.
• Engage with the Client, managing relationships and supporting them in aims.
