Job summary

Arup seeks Graduate Electrical Engineers to join multi-disciplinary design teams across the UK. An IET accredited training scheme will support you toward professional status, with strong training and development opportunities and a supportive network.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, strong Excel/Word skills, and be eligible to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role; Birmingham-based position with UK-wide opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/Bachelor's level in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; basic building services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection systems for buildings.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Conduct lighting photometric modelling.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP.
• Develop electrical calculations and reports.
• Collaborate with Architects and other disciplines to develop designs.
