Job summary

Kier Places is seeking a Graduate Construction Project Manager to join our team on sites across the Southampton region. You'll support experienced Project Managers and gain hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.

The two-year permanent development programme offers progression towards a recognised professional qualification or chartership, starting September 2027, with a salary progression and travel requirements including a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree or expected degree in Construction Project Management or related built-environment discipline.
• Interest in developing a career in project management and progressing towards recognised professional membership or chartership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organised and methodical.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination and administration.
• Maintain project records, trackers, meeting notes and document control information.
• Assist with planning, monitoring and reporting progress against programmes and milestones.
• Attend project meetings, recording actions and following up allocated items.
• Build positive working relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and internal teams.
