Job description

Graduate Client Account Executive - Business

RDW Exhibitions are seeking a recent graduate to join our team as a Client Account Executive, initially assisting our existing team of Account Managers. This role is an opportunity for a graduate with a degree in a business-related subject to develop a career in client account management.

As you develop your knowledge, confidence and experience, you will have the opportunity to progress into an Account Manager role, taking responsibility for your own portfolio of clients and projects.

You should be professional, proactive and customer-focused. You will help to manage a wide range of accounts, both large and small, from prospective clients through to long-standing customers. You will be self-motivated and confident in handling new enquiries by telephone and through web referrals, as well as proactively contacting new leads when required.

This role suits someone who thrives on variety and has a genuine interest in business, client relationships and the exhibition industry. We’re looking for someone with positive energy and a can-do attitude, with a natural flair for sales and an ability to build strong rapport with clients. You will be motivated by developing new and existing relationships, identifying opportunities and turning them into new business, while contributing to a motivated and supportive team environment.

We specialise in providing exhibition solutions to a diverse range of clients across the UK and Europe. We design, supply and install modular and custom-built stands and displays for hire or sale. We work with many clients from the agricultural, food and rural economy as well as those in construction, renewables, education and government.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with clients to understand their requirements, developing designs, organising drawings and submitting quotations. You will also follow up with clients to finalise stand designs by phone and email.
  • Coordinating all administration and logistics with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure prompt and efficient delivery to sites
  • Involvement with the preparation of hire stock and client enquiries
  • Co-ordinating on-site installations and handing over completed stands to clients
  • Managing multiple accounts simultaneously, which will require prioritising and organising a busy workload
Application requirements
  • Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Maths and English Language
  • A degree in a business-related subject, with an achieved grade of 2:1 or higher.
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport (due to the rural location)
  • This is an office-based role, 5 days a week apart from when on-site

The exhibition industry has busy periods throughout the year, and you should therefore be prepared to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, when required. You should also be prepared to spend a handful of nights away on-site each year, both within the UK and Europe.
