Kier Group is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer Scheme across the Midlands. Join our Infrastructure teams on a 2-year permanent programme starting September 2027, with a clear path to an assistant level and salary potential around £38k.

You will gain practical site and design experience, working in diverse teams across Birmingham, Rushden, Aylesbury, Chipping Warden, Oxford and Worksop. Starting salary £31,000 with eligibility for a car allowance; 26 days leave and wellbeing support are part of

Qualifications

• Graduating in 2027 or within the past 3 years with an ICE accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in civil engineering and construction.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing project designs, plans and specifications.
• Support development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specs, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve technical issues and report progress.
