Job summary

Kier Group is recruiting a Graduate Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Leicestershire, working on water-related projects. The role is designed as a structured two-year programme with hands-on experience from day one.

Starting salary is £31,000 per annum, with permanent, full-time commitment and salary progression to around £38k on completion. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development support are included.

Qualifications

• Graduates in 2027 or within the last 3 years with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems for projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications and reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to communicate and solve problems.
• Prepare technical reports and project updates.
