The role is based at Caledonian House, West Kinfauns, Perth, with 40-hour weeks and a focus on developing technical skills within the NMC NE team across UK communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 degree in Civil Engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing your career in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake specialist investigations.
• Assist with preparing technical documents and reports.
• Maintain high technical standards consistent with the project scope/brief.
• Provide design and specialist advice in relevant specialisms, e.g. pavements.
• Use AMPS for scheme identification, development and recording of maintenance interventions.
• Assist the project manager with project-related correspondence.
• Support Technical Workshops to discuss complex schemes and treatment proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation (CDM2015).
