Job summary

Amey Ltd in Liverpool is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Highways & Transportation Practice. You will support a team of engineers to deliver a portfolio of highway schemes for national and local clients, starting from day one.

The role offers a starting salary of £31,000 with a 40-hour week and a September 2027 start date. You will develop practical skills, use industry software, and collaborate across disciplines to shape the UK's infrastructure.

Qualifications

Civil/ Structural Engineering Degree at Grade 2:1 or above.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Prepare/Contribute to technical reports, design proposals, and client presentations.
Support the delivery of engineering projects for national and local highways.
Contribute to asset management strategies and lifecycle planning.
Use industry-standard software and tools to model and analyse options/performance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transport engineers.
Develop innovative solutions and designs that comply with industry standards and guidelines.
Deliver robust designs to enable safe, efficient asset management.
