Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley seeks a graduate civil engineer to join its North East operations, supporting early careers development. You will assist in the setup, construction and handover of projects while learning on-the-job with experienced teams.

The role requires travel to sites across the region, strong teamwork and a proactive approach to safety and quality. The position starts Summer 2027, with a comprehensive benefits package and access to the Early Careers Development Programme designed to

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the region.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up, construction, commissioning and handover of projects.
• Set out line & level of structures and pipework to drawings using surveying equipment.
• Complete QA checks and ITRs per procedures.
• Assist Site Manager with RAMS, permits to work, toolbox talks and site safety.
