Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley, employed by Mott MacDonald, is recruiting for an office-based civil engineering role that offers training, growth and a clear progression path within a large multidisciplinary team.

You will work on live projects from design through construction, supported by design and site teams, with access to our bespoke Early Careers Development Programme to accelerate your professional development over 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduated or due to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a postgraduate qualification (MSc).
• Excellent verbal communication skills for client and team liaison.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail; capable of precise drawings and reports.
• Considered approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering designs and calculations.
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
• Collaborate with construction teams to develop practical and safe design solutions from design through construction.
• Prepare designer risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, and related documents.
