Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for a Graduate Civil Engineer in Bristol as part of our 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme. You’ll join a civils team, gaining exposure to development and road infrastructure projects while learning via site visits and close collaboration with clients and colleagues.

You will work toward IEng/CEng status with ICE, supported by a structured chartership path and a dynamic, inclusive office culture in the South West region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and keen interest in infrastructure.
• Adaptable and collaborative, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work with a team across disciplines and locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical input across projects, from concept to detailed designs.
• Prepare drawings, reports, specifications and notes.
• Develop 3D design models and evaluate drainage networks.
• Research new technologies to minimise environmental impact.
• Assist in health and safety risk management.
• Assist in cost estimates and value engineering within constraints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from other organisations and disciplines.
• Conduct on-site surveys and assessments for designs.
• Prepare carbon emission calculations and documentation.
