Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. invites applications for the 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme in Taunton. You will join our Civil/Infrastructure team as a Graduate Civil Engineer, contributing to drainage, roads and utility designs while developing through site visits and client liaison.

You will gain early responsibility, mentoring, and opportunities to pursue ICE accreditation, with a supportive office culture and exposure to a wide range of development projects across the South-West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an interest in infrastructure.
• Willingness to develop professionally toward ICE accreditation.
• Ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in concept, preliminary and detailed scheme design development.
• Prepare drawings, design reports, specifications and notes.
• Create 3D design models and evaluate drainage networks.
• Research new technologies to minimise environmental impact.
• Assist in cost estimating and value engineering with constraints.
• Support on-site surveys and carbon emission calculations.
