Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Graduate Civil Engineer in Manchester for the 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme. You will join a Civil Engineering team of six within the Buildings discipline, collaborating across multiple offices and sectors, including industrial, residential and municipal projects.

You will support design and construction supervision throughout the project lifecycle, develop engineering solutions, and gain exposure from concept to operation while pursuing professional accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in working in the Buildings sector.
• Willingness to come into the office four days per week in Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering design and construction supervision across a range of projects.
• Produce engineering calculations, design drawings and technical reports.
• Attend project and design team meetings and undertake site visits.
