Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is offering a 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme for a Graduate Civil Engineer in Manchester.

You will work within a Civil Engineering team delivering highway and infrastructure schemes across the UK, developing through feasibility to construction with mentorship from experienced engineers. You’ll gain exposure to design, reporting and cost estimation while supporting health and safety and environmental considerations, aiming for chartership and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in the Infrastructure sector.
• Willing to come into the office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Involves assisting with concept, preliminary and detailed scheme designs.
• Prepare design reports, specifications and technical notes.
• Perform engineering design work and calculations, including 3D design models.
• Research latest construction techniques to minimise environmental impact.
• Support health and safety risk management and mitigation.
• Prepare cost estimates and value engineering within time/cost/environment constraints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from other organisations and disciplines.
• Support project management to monitor programme, cost and risk.
