Job summary

Stantec invites applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme in Manchester for a Graduate Structural Engineer within the Buildings discipline. You will join a close-knit team of civil and structural engineers, supported by experienced colleagues to grow professionally and contribute to a range of projects.

Responsibilities include structural analysis, calculations, drawings, inspections, and collaboration across disciplines, with emphasis on safe, sustainable design and progression toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BEng Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Familiarity with structural engineering analysis and design software is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building projects.
• Assist with parametric design to support low-embodied carbon structures.
• Prepare specifications and sketches/drawings for design packages.
• Conduct structural inspections and investigations as required.
• Assist in producing 3D Revit models and structural drawings.
• Attend project and team meetings to collaborate with designers.
