Job summary

Stantec in Manchester is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for its 2027 Graduate Programme. You will join a market-leading Buildings discipline, working with civil and structural engineers to deliver projects across the North West.

As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll perform structural analysis, design calculations, produce drawings, and contribute to 3D Revit models while learning from experienced engineers to deliver safe, sustainable design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and keen interest in the Buildings sector.
• Familiarity with structural engineering analysis and design software is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in a collaborative, office-based team environment.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design calculations to solve engineering problems.
• Parametric design support for low-embodied carbon structures.
• Prepare structural specifications and sketches/drawings.
• Carry out structural inspections and investigations for building projects.
• Assist with 3D Revit models and structural drawings production.
• Participate in project and team meetings to collaborate on design matters.
