Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites ambitious graduates to join its Energy team as Graduate Control and Instrumentation Engineers, contributing to the design, development and optimisation of control systems for energy assets. You’ll gain hands-on experience across generation and nuclear sectors, supported by mentoring and a structured early careers programme.

We look for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering, less than 12 months’ relevant

Qualifications

• 0–12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Bachelor's degree obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control system architectures including PLCs and HMIs.
• Contribute to Control System Philosophy documents and functional specifications.
