Job summary

We are seeking passionate graduates to join our Energy team as a Graduate Control and Instrumentation Engineer. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to grow, make a difference, and be part of something bigger.

As a graduate you’ll contribute to control system architectures, create HMIs, develop instrument data sheets and alarm schedules, and work on projects across Energy Generation and Nuclear Defence and Civil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering, obtained no earlier than 2025 or expected.
• Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements).
• Security clearance may be required for some opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control system architectures, including programmable controllers and HMIs.
• Contribute to Control System Philosophy documents and functional specifications.
• Produce engineering calculations, E/C matrices, and safety documentation.
• Create detailed diagrams: instrument location, hook‑up, termination, loop, and cable routing.
• Develop instrument data sheets, I/O schedules, and alarm schedules.
