Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking graduate Civil & Structural Engineers in the UK to contribute to Energy sector projects across Transmission & Distribution, Nuclear & Defence, and Hydropower. You will work with experienced professionals on projects that shape resilient, low‑carbon infrastructure and cities.

Qualifications

• Less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements) and a minimum bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2025) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• For some opportunities, a master’s degree is essential – reflected in the application form.
• Security clearance may be required; UK national or 5+ years residence in the UK is expected.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design phases
• Civil works design, including platforms, access roads, drainage systems
• Structural design, including foundations, beams, columns, connections
• Feasibility studies and optioneering to identify optimal solutions
• Site visits to assess conditions and support construction phases
