Job summary

Kier Places is looking for a Graduate Business Development Assistant to join the Southampton region team. The role forms part of a 2-year programme aimed at developing capability in business development, sales and strategic growth within construction and property management.

The starting salary is £31,000 per annum with a car allowance on some contracts; career progression to an assistant level role with potential salary circa £38k is offered on completion.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication with presentation abilities.
• Ability to conduct research, analyse information and present findings clearly with attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Maintain client relationship management systems and conduct market research.
• Prepare client presentations and capability statements.
• Coordinate client meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Support tender submissions with Bid and Pre-Construction teams.
