Amey is seeking a Graduate Bridges and Civil Structures Engineer to join our Perth team. You will work on high-impact projects across the UK, helping design, analyze and inspect bridges and civil structures from investigation to detailing and asset management.

Starting September 2027, this role offers a structured development pathway, exposure to major programmes and the chance to learn from industry experts within a supportive environment in Perth, Scotland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Civil or Structural Engineering – (Minimum Grade 2:1)
• Interest in bridges / civil structures
• Commitment to sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on projects across the UK and internationally.
• Develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures from investigation to design and supervision.
• Undertake structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections and supervision of works.
• Contribute to data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
