Amey is offering an Industry Placement in Bridges and Civil Structures Engineering in Perth, UK. The role provides hands-on experience across UK and international projects, from investigation to detailed design and asset management, with mentors from experienced engineers.

You will assist with structural analysis, develop 3D models and technical documents, and contribute to data-driven, sustainable solutions while learning from industry experts. Start date is September 2027.

Formación

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering
• An interest in bridges / civil structures
• A commitment to sustainable development.

Responsabilidades

• Be part of an experienced team, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Assist in structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works
• Contribute to the development and implementation of world-class data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
