Job summary

KPI Education is recruiting two Graduate Behaviour Mentors to join an established Alternative Provision setting in Stafford, working in partnership with the Dragon Group. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates who want to make a real difference to young people with SEMH needs.

As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor you will provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring, support emotional regulation, and help deliver engaging learning activities while collaborating with teachers and SEN staff.

Qualifications

• A degree in Psychology, Criminology, Education, Sport, Sociology or a related discipline (other degrees welcomed).
• Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence and resilience are essential.
• Interest in alternative education, inclusion and supporting vulnerable young people is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group mentoring to pupils needing behavioural and emotional support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have disengaged from mainstream education.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, resilience and positive behaviour.
• Help deliver engaging educational activities and personalised learning programmes.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN specialists and pastoral teams.
