Stepintoteaching is seeking a SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant in Birmingham (B37) to start ASAP. This full-time, term-time role offers a supportive SEN environment within a mainstream primary school.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have complex needs, supporting IEPs/EHCPs and helping students progress academically and personally.

Qualifications

Specialist SEN Area - Part of a mainstream primary school | ASAP Start

Are you a final-year student or recent graduate looking to begin a truly rewarding career supporting children and young people with additional needs?

Do you want hands‑on, specialist experience in a dedicated SEN environment before progressing into teacher training or Educational Psychology?

We are working with a highly supportive specialist SEN area within a primary school in the Birmingham area (B37) that is seeking a committed and compassionate graduate to join their team for the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain in‑depth, real‑world experience within a specialist setting, working closely with pupils who have a range of complex needs and making a meaningful impact every single day.

This role is perfect for an aspiring teacher or future Educational Psychologist looking to build essential experience in a specialist education environment.

The Opportunity

  • Start date: ASAP (new academic year)
  • Full‑time role, Monday to Friday
  • Weekly pay: £500 – £530, term time only
  • Opportunity to continue into the 2026/27 academic year

Your Role
