Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited is recruiting graduates for a full-time Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant/Academic support role at a Specialist SEND Primary School in Liverpool. Start ASAP for the 26/27 academic year, with term-time, Monday to Friday schedule.

You’ll gain hands-on classroom experience from day one, supporting SEND and SEMH needs, building relationships and developing practical skills in behaviour management, pupil engagement and classroom routines.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above required.
• Demonstrated passion for supporting young people.
• Ability to engage and motivate pupils and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities and support SEND students.
• Support behaviour management and pupil engagement in lessons.

The Role:

• Position: Graduate SEND Academic Coach/ Teaching Assistant
• Location:Liverpool L27
• School: Specialist SEND Primary School
• Start Date: ASAP- Academic Year 26/27
• Interview Period: ASAP
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time)
• Pay: £500–£530 per week

• To hold a 2:2 degree or above

• Empathetic, resilient and focused to achieve
• Are committed for the full academic year (Until July 2027)
• Work well within a team and communicate effectively
