Job summary

Step Into Teaching is working with an outstanding specialist school in Cobham to offer a year-long Graduate Academic Coach placement. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning, regulate emotions and build independence.

You will gain exposure to evidence-based practices, train with experienced staff, and develop essential skills for future teaching, psychology or SEN roles. Term-time only role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
• Patience, supportive and emotionally resilient
• Genuine interest in SEN, autism or child development
• Clear communication and ability to build relationships with pupils and staff
• Be reflective, proactive and willing to learn
• Support classroom activities and prepare learning materials
• Deliver structured support to individuals or small groups
