Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above in a relevant subject.
• No previous TA or school experience required.
• Genuine interest in working with children and pursuing a career in education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support during lessons and classroom activities.
• Help the pupil understand and complete learning tasks.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Adapt your approach to suit the pupil's individual needs.
• Support the pupil to engage with the wider classroom environment.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Work closely with the class teacher to provide consistent support.
• Share observations about the pupil's engagement and progress with teaching staff.
