Job summary

KPI Education is partnering with a Newham primary school to recruit a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant for September 2026. You will work within a supportive team, assisting teachers with lessons and engaging pupils across the school.

This role provides hands-on classroom exposure and is ideal for graduates aiming to pursue teacher training and careers in education. Interviews commence throughout September.

Qualifications

• Bachelor graduates with strong communication and teamwork are preferred.
• Experience supporting children's education and wellbeing is valuable.
• A proactive, adaptable approach and a patient, positive attitude in a busy classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
• Support pupils through one-to-one and small group activities.
• Help children develop reading, writing and maths confidence.
• Provide encouragement and guidance during lessons.
• Support children with SEND and individual learning needs.
• Create and organise classroom resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and learning habits.
• Observe pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
