Job summary

KPI Education in Southwark, South London, is seeking an ambitious Early Years Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract starting September 2026. You’ll support Nursery and Reception learners and work with experienced staff to develop early literacy and numeracy.

The role offers competitive weekly pay (£550-£600) and immediate interviews in September.

Qualifications

• A First-Class Honours Degree or 2:1 Degree from a recognised university.
• Strong GCSE results (A*-C / Grade 4 and above).
• Good A-Level results.
• Alternative Qualifications Considered: CACHE Level 3 qualification with relevant EYFS experience.

Responsibilities

• Support children within Nursery and Reception settings.
• Assist with delivery of engaging and creative learning activities.
• Support communication, language, literacy and numeracy development.
• Encourage positive social interaction and emotional development.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions when required.
• Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
