Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a school in Liverpool for a Graduate Learning & Classroom Support Assistant. This term-time role starts ASAP and offers experience in a classroom, supporting pupils and developing skills for future teaching or pupil support.

You will work with experienced staff, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help create an inclusive learning environment while building positive pupil relationships.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above in a relevant subject (Psychology, Education, English, Mathematics, Science or related).
• Interest in working with young people and pursuing a career in education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils during lessons and helping them understand and engage with classroom work.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where pupils need additional guidance.
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Building positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Helping create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Developing your understanding of different learning needs through practical, school-based experience.
