Job summary

Bentham Road Health Centre is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, people management, governance and contractual matters for the site. You will work closely with the Practice Manager, Lead GP and Cornerstone management to ensure safe, compliant and effective service delivery.

The role focuses on leadership, HR management, operational oversight, clinical governance and continuous service improvement within the Bentham Road Health Centre setting.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Development: Provide visible, compassionate leadership to the Bentham Road Team, supporting staff development through regular one-to-one meetings, appraisals, coaching conversations and development planning.
• HR and People Management: Manage HR matters in line with employment law and Cornerstone policies, monitor attendance, conduct return-to-work interviews, maintain records and ensure training and compliance.
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day running of Bentham Road Health Centre, manage staffing, rotas and cover, and lead service improvements.
• Clinical Governance, Audit and Quality: Support QOF achievements, ensure audits are planned and actioned, maintain governance records and support learner training.
• Complaint Management: Handle patient complaints professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and drive improvement from learnings.
• Health, Safety, Premises and Risk Management: Ensure H&S compliance, report facilities issues, maintain business continuity plans.
