The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Salaried GP for Irchester Surgery, working across its own site and Summerlee Medical Centre in Finedon, 4 to 6 sessions a week. The role centers on clinic sessions, patient contact in person and by phone, home visits, referrals, reviewing results and hospital letters, medication reviews and duty doctor cover.

The post includes taking a lead role in a clinical area such as safeguarding or diabetes, serving a patient base of about 4,100, and requires

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of GP training or equivalent experience.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Undertake clinic sessions and patient care.
• Provide face-to-face and telephone advice to patients.
• Carry out home visits as required.
• Complete referral letters in a timely manner.
• Review laboratory results and hospital letters.
• Conduct medication reviews and manage repeats.
• Participate in the duty doctor system.
• Maintain accurate patient records with safeguarding and data protection.
