Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is advertising up to three GP posts at a two-site training practice in the UK. Positions are open to salaried GPs and experienced GPs seeking partnership, with 6 to 8 sessions per week across acute, chronic and preventive care.

Partners will participate in strategy, service development and business planning without a property buy-in. Entry requires GMC GP Register inclusion and MRCGP or equivalent, with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and

Qualifications

• Medical degree MBBS or equivalent.
• CCT in GP training or equivalent recognised qualification.
• MRCGP or equivalent recognised qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centred consultations across acute, chronic and preventative needs.
• Deliver face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations with continuity of care.
• Manage long-term conditions to improve patient health outcomes.
• Review pathology results, clinical correspondence, repeat prescribing and other clinical workflows promptly.
• Work with practice nurses, healthcare assistants, clinical pharmacists and PCN colleagues to deliver integrated care.
• Take part in clinical governance, quality improvement, teaching and CPD.
• Contribute to practice meetings and ongoing development of services.
