The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Salaried GP for six sessions across Leek practices within the Leek and Biddulph PCN. The GP will work autonomously, delivering clinical care under the primary care contract, including prescribing, chronic disease management, and processing referrals and repeat requests.

The role includes audit, appraisal and revalidation duties and requires working outside core hours with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualificações

• MRCGP, JCPTGP or equivalent qualifications required.
• GP CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent.
• GMC registration and qualified GP status.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver effective medical care to the practice population.
• Provide services under the primary care contract.
• Prescribe generically in line with local/national guidance.
• Manage long-term conditions effectively.
• Process referrals, repeat prescriptions and admin promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical records per policy.
• Attend practice meetings and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Participate in audit, appraisal and revalidation.
• Support medical students and training initiatives.
• Support partners' strategic aims to enhance income/reduce expenditure.
