Aviva plc is seeking a Risk Governance Manager - Enterprise Risk to lead risk oversight across all three lines, producing high-quality opinions and board reporting, and challenging senior management on financial and non-financial risks.

You can be a qualified or part-qualified actuary or accountant with insurance sector experience, strong analytical ability, and a proven track record of influencing decisions through effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified Actuary or Accountant with insurance sector experience.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management and the risks, challenges and opportunities facing the insurance market.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and translate insights into clear, practical risk conclusions.
• Experience producing and presenting high-quality Board, Committee or senior management reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, provide constructive challenge and build credibility with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decision-making across all three lines of defence.
• Produce high-quality risk opinions and Board-level reporting; analyse risk trends and emerging issues.
• Contribute to assurance reviews across a broad range of financial and non-financial risks.
• Help shape and enhance the Risk Management Framework; build strong relationships across the business.
