Job summary

Delta Housing is seeking a Governance Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Chelmsford. You will support the Data Protection Officer with coordinating Subject Access Requests, data breach investigations, and ensuring data sharing agreements are in place.

The role requires strong administrative skills, careful record-keeping, and the ability to work with the Governance and Assurance team. Initially office-based with a hybrid model after training, you will report to the Head of

Qualifications

• Evidence of competence in administrative processes/procedures.
• Good track record in maintaining data/record systems and developing knowledge of further applications.
• Confident organiser with ability to use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Data Protection Officer with Subject Access Request requests and Data Breach/Data Protection administration.
• Support the Data Protection Officer with the organising and management of the GDPR/Data Protection Project Group.
• Assist the Data Protection Officer in responding to internal audit enquires.
• Support the Head of Governance and Assurance and the Governance and Assurance team with any tasks if and when required.
• Undertake any other responsibilities relevant to this post, as directed by your line manager.
