Job summary

Nationwide is hiring a Business Manager to support the Governance & Customer Data Team in Glasgow or Northampton on a 12-month secondment. Hybrid working is offered, with regular in-office collaboration and flexible home-working arrangements.

You will review customer journey data to ensure quality and compliance, support vulnerable customers, and drive improvements across processes. Strong attention to detail and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of business banking products, services and processes and ability to navigate key systems (BLP, MEO, Livelink).
• Strong commitment to high-quality work and immaculate data housekeeping incl. retention.
• Understanding of Vulnerable Customer requirements and ability to identify financial difficulty.
• Proficient with Microsoft packages, especially Excel, and SharePoint data.

Responsibilities

• Review customer journey data across business areas to assess quality and compliance with FCA regulations and government loan rules.
• Oversee PAYG options and ensure fair, empathetic treatment of vulnerable customers; complete remediation actions when needed.
• Provide feedback from quality assessments and analyze complaint trends to improve policies and processes.
• Act as SME and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to support operations.
• Resolve complex queries with timely responses while maintaining data quality and lending risk measures.
