Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment is seeking a proactive Data Manager to join a global travel leader's Data Governance team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on data quality, governance, and collaboration with data engineers and product managers to improve data products.

You will automate data quality checks, maintain data dictionaries and end-to-end data lineage, and partner with Data Engineers and Product Managers to ensure compliant, reliable data products across the business.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Governance, MDM, or lifecycle management.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI for data visualization.

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and profiling.
• Visualization: Experience with Tableau or PowerBI.
• Governance Expertise: 1-3 years of experience in Data Governance, MDM, or lifecycle management.
• Concepts: Strong understanding of Data Warehouse vs. Data Lake architectures and ETL workflows.
• Communication: Ability to translate technical data issues into actionable business insights for senior stakeholders.
