Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Governance and Compliance Officer to contribute to strong governance and assurance within a purpose‑led organisation, supporting oversight and regulatory standards. The role will involve maintaining governance records, policies and assurance evidence and coordinating audits across the organisation.

Working with the Governance and Assurance Manager, senior leaders, the Board and committees, you will help residents and staff contribute to service improvement and ensure

Qualifications

• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Able to format reports in Word and create agenda packs using Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance support to Board and committees and prepare minutes.
• Support policy implementation and guidance on governance requirements and standards.
• Coordinate audits and assurance reviews and maintain records and reporting.
