Job summary

Greater Manchester Academies Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Governance and Compliance Professional to lead governance across the trust, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance and driving the development of a central function.

You will oversee recruitment, induction and training related to governance, provide strategic leadership for services that support governance trust-wide and help the trust achieve its growth aims.

• Support the Trust's aims for growth by strengthening governance structures and capabilities.

Job description

We require an enthusiastic and dynamic Governance Professional to play a pivotal role in the Trust. The Trust views the appointment of the Governance and Compliance Professional as a key appointment and as such, there is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to drive their own evolution and development of the role, as the Trust prospers over the coming years.

We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Governance professional who will be pivotal to the Trust to ensure key compliancy areas are met.

The main objective of the role is to oversee all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensure governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements and provide strategic leadership of services that support governance across the Trust, including effective governance recruitment, induction and training.
