We’re looking for a Governance Administrator to join our team! This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity, and is full-time working 37 hours a week, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team working within the governance team, the company secretarial function, as well as and other colleagues across the business.
As a Governance Administrator you'll provide essential support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our Board, Committees and wider governance functions. Working closely with the Assistant Company Secretary and colleagues across the organisation, you'll play a key role in coordinating meetings, managing governance records and supporting the delivery of high-quality governance services.
In this varied role, you'll be responsible for arranging and supporting Board and Committee meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes/documents, maintaining governance documentation and registers, managing diary commitments and ensuring records are accurately maintained. You'll also support a range of governance activities, helping to ensure the organisation remains well-governed and compliant.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be confident using Microsoft Office applications, and demonstrate discretion when handling confidential information. You'll be proactive, adaptable and capable of building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience in an administrative, governance, company secretarial or compliance-related environment would be beneficial, but most importantly you'll bring a commitment to delivering a professional and efficient service and will be willing to learn the role. You'll join a supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to broaden your governance knowledge, develop professionally and make a meaningful contribution to the organisation's success. If you thrive in a role where organisation, accuracy and collaboration are key, we'd love to hear from you.
