Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a Golf Shop team member to deliver a welcoming shopping experience for golfers of all abilities. You will assist with desk duties, ball collection, and bookings for lessons and fittings, while promoting Belfry facilities to maximise revenue.

This is a 32-hour role across four days with base pay plus service charge. Ideal candidates will have strong golf equipment knowledge, excellent communication and a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of golf equipment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess swing dynamics and equipment needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Passion for golf and commitment to enhancing player performance.

Responsibilities

• Run academy desk shifts and ball collection to keep the operation smooth.
• Handle telephone enquiries, payments, and bookings for lessons and fittings.
• Operate ball collectors to ensure sufficient supply for driving range.
• Address customer queries in a polite, professional manner.
• Open and close the driving range following SOP and cash handling.
• Promote The Belfry facilities to customers and upsell to maximise revenue.
